19th Century Mercury Wheel Barometer

English Oak Barometer, circa 1880.

The swan neck pediment on this barometer was broken. The missing pediment was recreated using designs derived from a similar barometer and pictures of like examples. The mercury-tube also required re-filling and the wheels were adjusted.
